I have just been asked to do a mural for Selkirk college at “The Griff”, a performance space in Trail BC, which is located in the same building as the Charles Bailey Theatre. The piece I am doing is roughly 20 feet x 9 feet, and is based off of my original image shown above. The original image was a commissioned work for the Vancouver International Jazz Festival, and currently resides in their head office in Vancouver BC Canada. The original is 6’ x 3’ and so I will be enlarging this baby to a new extreme. I’ve started the sketch on the wall already, with the help of my lovely assistant, Rachelle Unrau. The piece will be ready in time for the first performance in February after their anticipated renovation. Progress photos soon!
